Utilizing high bandwidth 2400MB/s mini-SAS (SFF-8088) cabling, the ER208PS+BHP supports SATA hard drives to deliver superior read / write speeds that are crucial in performance-driven environments such as the video editing industry. The mini-SAS connection combines sixteen hard drive connections into a single cables, reducing possible points of failures while preserving uninterrupted data transfer. System status information such as the hard drive, and cooling fan status are provided by the LED. All necessary hardware comes standard including the controller card, mini-SAS cable, hard drive tray modules and built-in mounting rail.
